Are zebra blinds good for bedrooms?

They can be. Choose a near-blackout fabric for bedrooms where you want to block most light, or pair them with a blackout roller shade for full darkness.

What's the difference between zebra blinds and roller shades?

A roller shade is a single fabric panel that rolls up. Zebra blinds use alternating sheer and solid bands, so you can shift between privacy and view without fully raising the shade.

Can I install zebra blinds myself?

Yes. We build to your measurements and ship for DIY install, or you can book our professional measure-and-install service across the Lower Mainland.

Do you offer a bulk discount?

Yes — save 10% on zebra and roller shade orders over 207 square feet, ideal for whole-home or commercial projects.

Zebra blinds (also called dual or layered shades) pair alternating sheer and solid fabric bands so you can fine-tune light and privacy in a single window covering. Bloombug Screens custom-builds zebra blinds to your exact measurements — order online for DIY install or book our measure-and-install service.

Align the solid bands for full privacy and light blocking, or shift them to align the sheer bands for filtered daylight and a view out. The alternating layers give you precise control that a single roller shade can't match — perfect for living rooms, offices and any space where the sun changes through the day.

Our zebra blinds are custom-sized to the millimetre, available in a range of fabrics from light-filtering to near-blackout, with chain or cordless operation. Orders over 207 square feet qualify for a 10% bulk discount.
